I’m Lisa Mackin. Welcome to Boston Baked Blossoms, a one woman artisan floral pastry studio.
I was raised in Dorchester by a mother from Charlestown and I live in South Boston. I’ve got an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for petals. After many years as a professional designer and fine artist, I’ve taken to the kitchen using buttercream as my medium. A scratch baker my entire life, all it took was a pandemic and a sweet tooth (and the very first retail residential kitchen permit issued by the City of Boston) to launch a successful studio bakery. In August of 2021, I closed my freelance design business and opened my virtual bakery doors - and haven’t looked back.
Now, I want to teach you how to create edible works of art that taste as good as they look! A truly delightful alternative to traditional flowers, these artisanal delights provide a way for you to convey sentiment and thoughtfulness that satisfies both the eyes and the stomach.
